Can you offload old attachments?
Yes, once setup the system will find all old attachments and offload them. You can set the age of attachments to offload, for example, attachments from tickets closed over 90 days ago.
Is the solution secure?
Yes, we take security very seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Communication between Zendesk, the Zendesk app, our processing servers, and our storage servers are protected by authentication keys. We also offer on-premises solutions for customers with strict security requirements.
How are attachments offloaded?
The attachment is securely copied from Zendesk onto our storage servers (or your own storage solution if you choose the hybrid option). The attachment is then redacted from Zendesk. The sidebar app will show the attachment in its new home.
